Vocational A-levels

 Vocational A-levels

They prepare students for the world of work and provide a good starting point for students moving on to the more specific National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs)

Employers value the qualities that such students bring to their businesses including organisation, time management, presentation and research skills.

Approximately 95% of the 29,000 Advanced GNVQ students who applied to HE last year received offers of places.

VCEs are flexible so that they meet the needs of a wide range of students. and can be taken with other qualifications such as IB Higher or Standard units, GCSEs, or A/AS levels.

Vocational students have an opportunity to try a range of activities, such as designing products, organising events, investigating how professionals work and working in teams.
