Current Admissions Criteria
1. LOCALS
Children permanently residing in the priority admissions area of the
Parishes of Ingatestone, Mountnessing and
Margaretting.
2. SIBLINGS
Children with a brother or sister
attending the school at the time of their application and where that
sibling was admitted between Years 7 and 11 and is reasonably
expected to still be attending the school at the time of the
applicant’s own admission.
3. INTERNATIONAL CONNECTIONS
Children who demonstrate the strong and positive influence of a
different culture and/or language other than English.
The following factors will be considered, ranked in order:
3.1 a
significant period of permanent residence outside the U.K.
3.2 a
direct, substantial and sustained experience of a language and/or
culture other than English.
3.3
a significant exposure to an internationalist ethos in the home.
4. PROXIMITY
If
places still remain they will be offered to applicants living
nearest to the school (measured by straight line distance).
N.B. “Looked after”
children have highest priority.
