Welcome to our first Year 7 Virtual Open Event
Dear Parents and Carers
We continue to respond to the challenges caused by the need to keep the school and its community safe in these very challenging times. Our traditional Open Evening is now a Virtual Open Event and what follows is the final piece in the jigsaw. We are pleased to provide a video explaining what is unique about our school, a pre-recorded welcome from the headteachers, a virtual tour, and answers to some of the most frequently asked questions by parents on our open evenings. In addition, we have a series of introductions to our curriculum from our Heads of Department, explaining what makes it special in the context of our school, alongside some information from important non-academic departments who are key to supporting our students. Some are more formal than others but we would encourage you to view them all. Taken together, all the elements of the ‘Virtual Open Event’ say something really important about this distinctive school. They certainly add up to more than the sum of the parts.
We hope you feel, having spent some time viewing what we have put together for you, that the Anglo is a vibrant, welcoming, relaxed but very purposeful community and one well placed to continue to meet the challenges ahead.
