She played through the first few rounds defeating representatives from New Zealand, Canada and South Africa earning her place in the quarter final playing against the current World Champion from Australia. Unfortunately she lost this match but this ranked her as 8th in the world! Overall our team from England won the Nations Cup. Well done Jackie on your amazing achievement!
Congratulations to our award winners in the 2018 C3L6 Chemistry Challenge. This is an international competition organised by a team at Cambridge University specifically for Lower Sixth Chemistry students. It’s designed to challenge students to apply the sixth form curriculum to intriguing real world Chemistry problems in a demanding written paper. One question focussed on mining on the moon and if people were to live on the moon they would need to make the most of the natural resources.
