The Annual Lower Sixth v Upper Sixth Charity Football Match in memory of Tom Smith, an Anglo student who sadly lost his life to Sarcoma, took place after school yesterday. The game was largely dominated by the Upper Sixth but thanks to an inspired goal-keeping performance from Patrick Wiseman, the Lower Sixth kept in the game. With 5 minutes to go, the Lower Sixth grabbed a dramatic late winner to seal a 2-1 victory. It was a very enjoyable and competitive game which raised a total of £82 for the school charities. This latest victory for the Lower Sixth team now puts the overall score at a draw, 2 wins for each team.
