BBC Radio 4’s ‘Any Questions?’

We were delighted with the school's hosting of the BBC radio 4 programme 'Any Questions' on Friday night which saw the school hall filled to capacity.  Almost 350 students, staff, parents and members of our local community were able to hear first hand the views and opinions of Shadow Olympics Minister, Tessa Jowell, Chief Secretary to the Treasury and Liberal Democrat M.P, Danny Alexander, Chief Political Commentator of the Daily Telegraph, Peter Oborne and General Secretary of the PCS Civil Service Union, Mark Serwotka.

With the initiative being taken by Emma Pearce ( upper sixth student) , for the school to be the venue, it sent out a very clear message that young people do want to be involved in this level of political debate.
