Director of sixth form and politics student organise live political debate

Director of sixth form Mr Stuart Newton and lower sixth politics student Jaymey McIvor organised a political debate for the lower and upper sixth students. Representatives from all the major parties were present and a lively debate took place on topics such as Immigration, Education and the Economy. Students were asked to complete a poll before the debate began indicating which party they would be voting for in the general election and then again at the end of the debate to see if there was a shift in the students voting choice.
