The garden club have spent 12 weeks designing, making and growing a school community garden. We have grown over the summer holidays, orange squash and pumpkins for October, cucumber, marrows, beans, lettuce, herbs, strawberries, tomatoes, carrots, potatoes and courgettes. We have enjoyed eating the produce as much as growing it and we look forward to growing a variety of vegetables again this year. This environmental project will continue to grow, with a day organised to plant the wildflower meadow and further exciting projects to encourage wildlife into the area.
