Litterbusters Keep Ingatestone Tidy

Last week saw the re-launch Litterbusters. The Lower 6th CAS group have been active in promoting this extra-curricular activity and enlisting new members, in particular from Year 7.  Their first visit into the village tied in with the Ingatestone Village Litter Pick Day.  We look forward to seeing this group thrive in keeping litter off our streets!

The Anglo Litterbusters was first developed some years ago as part of the Keep Ingatestone Tidy group led by John Galvin. The school took responsibility for Willow Green and the route to the railway station.  Co-headteacher, David Barrs said “We talk a lot about global citizenship but to be a good global citizen we have to be able to act as good local citizens.  The two go together.  Litterbusters is an example of how the diverse Anglo community understands the importance of our position within Ingatestone”.
