Sixth Form students to take a break from the stress and worry of upcoming exams

Students in the Sixth Form were given an opportunity to take a break from the stress and worry of upcoming exams and enjoy an hour of therapeutic yoga in The Sanctuary. They were taught about the importance of breathing and stretching in order to relieve tension and anxiety and it gave them a chance to quietly reflect. The Sanctuary provided the perfect environment for a moment of calm away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the school. Although this was just a taster session, there was overwhelming support for more yoga to be offered. We are grateful to Stephanie from Holistic Life Yoga for coming in and working with our students and we hope to make it a regular extra-curricular offer.
