Upper 6th celebrate their last day at the Anglo before exams begin

Today we celebrate the last day in school for our U6th, many of whom have been with us since they started Year 7 in 2009. All the U6th students, including the IB cohort who have already finished their exams, have come in today in fancy dress and there will be a special assembly to share memories, including a special award ceremony from the Sixth Form team. Today’s celebrations will be followed up by a picnic on the 28th June where students will get the opportunity to say goodbye to staff and friends and then the Leavers’ Prom on the 30th June. The celebrations are bound to continue on the 6th July when the IB results are released and then again on 18th August on A Level results day.

Mr Newton, Director of Sixth Form, “As with succeeding generations of Anglo students who have benefitted from an internationally inspired education, we are pleased that they leave us as confident, interesting and globally aware young people who will make their mark on the world and hopefully aim to change it in some small way.”
