International Fringe Week

Developing globally minded citizens

International Fringe Week is one of the highlights of The Anglo's academic calendar, providing students in Years 7 to 9 with the opportunity to step beyond the traditional classroom and explore global themes through immersive, cross-curricular learning.

Throughout the week, students work collaboratively on a range of exciting projects that connect subjects and bring learning to life. From retracing the journeys of scientists like Darwin and conducting fieldwork both on the school site and within the local community of Ingatestone, to investigating the impact of globalisation on international businesses, students develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.

International Fringe Week encourages curiosity, creativity and critical thinking as students tackle complex issues from multiple perspectives. By making connections between subjects such as geography, science, history, business and the arts, students gain a richer appreciation of how knowledge is interconnected.

Most importantly, the week inspires students to become globally minded citizens, equipping them with the confidence, collaboration and problem-solving skills needed to address some of the challenges facing our rapidly changing world.
