"I don’t have my login details"

Schools send an invitation email when setting up Arbor. Sometimes this lands in junk/spam folders.

1. Search inbox and junk/spam for “Arbor.”
2. If you can’t find it, contact the school office to resend.
3. Follow the link to set your password and log in.

Logging into the Parent Portal and the Arbor App

"I’m not getting notifications from Arbor"

Notifications may be turned off in your phone settings or the Arbor app.

 1. Check phone settings → Apps → Arbor → Notifications ON.
2. If denied before, reinstall the app or adjust manually.
3. Ensure your email/phone number in Arbor is correct.
4. Restart the app/phone if needed.

 Parents not receiving push notifications

“Assignments keep showing as overdue, even when my child says they did them.”

Parents can view assignment status, but only students can submit via their Student Portal.

1. In Parent App/Portal, check the Assignments section.
2. Confirm due dates and “submitted/overdue” status.
3. Remind your child to submit via Student Portal.
4. Contact school if overdue items don’t update.

Assignments FAQ for Parents

“I’m confused about the difference between the Arbor app and the browser.”

The App is quick and convenient, but has fewer features. The Browser (Parent Portal) provides more detail.

1. Use the App for messages, assignments, and behaviour/achievement points.
2. Use the Browser for attachments, reports, forms, and payments.

Managing the Parent Portal and App FAQ

“I don’t know where to see behaviour or achievement points.”

Parents can see behaviour logs and points on the homepage dashboard and in their child’s profile.

1. In the Parent App/Portal, open your child’s profile → Behaviour.
2. View points, incidents, and detentions (if shared by school).
3. Use this as a positive discussion point with your child.

Behaviour in the Parent Portal

"My child has forgotten their password and cannot access Arbor"

Your child needs to login into my apps with their Microsoft school account.

Here you should see a number of tiles - one being Arbor.

Select 'forgot my password' then open the email sent to his school outlook (also a tile on my apps).

Please change the password from there, this will not affect the school or Microsoft login, just Arbor.
